Overview
From now on your weapons have attack points. Plus armor adds 'health', and your character has health(ONLY IN THE ARENA)
Check your stats to see how well your moderators are doing on that subject.
Fighting is turn based. One player makes a move. The other player makes his move. Your actions must be down to earth! NO GODMODDING! players will be suspended from the fourms if doing so!
A judge(admin) will determine the end result(Exp distribution) and you will be all well agian,(tell admin before battle).
How to Battle
Arena Battles are based upon the level and experience of your character. All new character are Level 1 and have 0 experience, regardless of your description as a pacifist manslayer.
Unique power that are provided from the intial description (i.e your character can control fire) can be harnessed to a certain extent, and will cause minimal damage to players of higher level. Unique weapons are likewise the same.
The Actual battle consist of turns. Your first turn will be an introductory turn in which your characters will enter and agree to the challenge. Then they will wait for the admin to confirm the battle by posting the stats of yourself and your opponents(Your profile). Players are allowed to make attacks and defenses by indirect plays. For example:
Rangavar charged forward sword raised eyes blazing with the excitment of battle. He launched himself at Xion.
This is considered a Viable indirect play, and is accepted by the admins. This allows Xion to make a defense play and attack himself.
However:
Rangavar charged with his sword and slashed Xion in two.
This is a very unacceptable play. It does not allow Xion a defense or any oppertunity at the matter. This is a prime example of God-modding.
Godmodding refers to the combination of unagreed upon moves and direct contact with the opponent in their turn. This is very unfair and completely outrules the use of a judge. Judges are the ones that confirm hits not YOU.
After the battle, based on the statistics and whomever wins the judge will distribute experience. For example a lower level beats a higer level player with a dazzling display of skill. The winner will gain a very copious amount of experience. However if a higher level beats a lower level with an overwhelming arsenal of strenght the winner will be awarded with very little experience for the match was clearly not a challenge.
Thus concludes as very detailed as I can, the aspect of battling.
