All You Need To Know Including Character (READ!!!)

We have been told that our site is a little confusing. We apologize. So, until we fix it, this is a quick post on everything you need to know. Oh, and remember that if you have any questions, email or PM an admin. I am most easily reached through AIM, MSN or email, though I do PM.

Part I: Account

First, you need to actually join the forums. When on the site as a Guest, the top of the screen should say something like "Welcome, Guest...blah blah blah". Anyways, click Register, and follow the directions. You should then receive an email containing your funky password. Sign in.

Now, at the top, while signed in, there should be a button that says Profile. Click it and then go to where it says password. Change it to something you can remember. You can change a lot of other options here also. The visible name can be made to say something else besides your username. This will eventually have to be changed to your character's name. If you have decided your char's name at this point, change it. If not, wait until you have made your character.

Part II: Character

Now that you have an account, you can make a character. Go to the Character Creation page to make your character. The form is on that page, but to make it easier, here it is:



Name: (your REAL NAME, though not necessary)
Character Name: (ex: Ralhorn of Goldenlake)
Age: (character age)
Weapon of Choice: (Starter weapon--Create yourself a unique weapon.)
Job: (preferably Adventurer)
Race: (ex: Human, Moragna Vrr, Dark elf [races are at the bottom of rules and help])
Description: (Describe your character.)



At this time, go to Profile and change your visible name to you character's name, if you haven't already done that. Here are the Races and Classes, just in case.

Races

• Human: Regular people. No special abilities and no particular weaknesses.
  
• Elven: Slender, Wildly attractive people who dwell among the trees in Gal'Riaah. They have superior archery abilities and A queer weakness to all that is a flame (on fire).
  
• Dark Elves: Slender, Dark, and Violent... What more can is say? Dark Elves have superior endurance and agility and their swordsmanship is unmatched. Their weakness is to Mind Deception (Illusion)
  
• Surface Elves: Almost Humanlike except for two large fangs. Surface Elves are known for their ability to detect and track creatures and people. They specialize in Glaives, A native weapon. Their weakness is to Elemental damage. (Fire, Ice, Water, Earth)
  
• Fairies: Small elusive peoples how favor flight and their trusty sling. They specialize in Illusion. They have a weakness to melee'
  
• Dragoon: The Fabled Dragoons were nearly wiped out. But hiding along the human races they are not different from them until mad angry. They favor flight and winged attacks. They specialize in elemental damage. They have weakness to the Elven made bows. They morph into dragon-like people of unrivaled distinction in battle.
  
• Moragna Vrr: Moragna Vrr are the 'ferret people' of Gal'Riiah. They specialize in skirmish and hand to hand greatly utilizing their sharp claws and quick wit. Weaknesses are to Human trappers. They are also immortal and can live for thousands of years without even aging!
  
• Avren: The Avren are immortal bird-like people. Their feather color changes with their moods. They also use their wing to quickly knock over their opponent and than they strike. They favor lances and often use their deadly claws. They are also fatally weak against shock and lightning. They are very hostile and will attack anybody. They live in a city deep within the Devvinon Mountains.
  
• Wolverine: The wolverine is a half man half wolf race of mankind. Although there are not many, because wolverines have taken a vow when Algoroth of Glandale defeated the headmaster of all Wolves. They feed on bred slaves. They have alter egos that take on normal live oblivious to the fact they turn to wolves at night, or by unspeakable rage similar to the Blood rage of Dragoons. The original Werewolves came from the far northern reach, currently occupied by the shadowlanders. They are known plainly as the first ones. If someone encounters a wolverine and lives with sustained damage by the teeth, then they will become werewolves within 30 days.
  
• Nerruma: The cat people of Galriiah. These two legged cat people live in tribes along the Nortwestern Reaches of The Shadowlands. They can change into animals resembling tigers. They are extremely powerful in this form. They are mostly considered enemy, but there are a few exceptions.

Jobs/Classes

• Adventurer: Wide-spread and the majority of the Gal'Riiah population.
  
• Mage: avid magic users, skilled in the arcane arts, and mostly frail, weak bodies.
  
• Knight: Warriors that uphold the Creed of the nation of Galia, they uphold life, liberty and pursue all who threaten it.
  
• Warrior: Galians that dedicate their life to the mastery of war. They are skilled with an assortment of weapons and are formidable opponents.
  
• Archers: quick, agile and accurate. These Galians are the backworks of war, protecting the boarders and vanquishing foes before they even come close.
  
• Theif: Sleek, stealth, quick, smart... the typical scoundrel. They infiltrate, steal and murder to their treasures.
  
• Assassin: Infamous killers who get big bucks for taking down targets. Its a win-win situation, kill and get money.
  
• Valkyrie: Magic-casting, horse-riding, balls of destruction. What more can I say?
  
• Entrepenuer: A jack of all trades, likes magic to do little tricks and uses his body skillfully. A deadly combination.
  
• Hunter: Galians skilled at taking down animals and beast. They are the top-most authority in tracking and killing wolves and nix-hounds.

Part III: Exploring

Okay, now you’re set. Your profile will be up ASAP. To check this (contains your Inventory, Exp, Gold, etc.) go to the main page, and then go to Character Profiles. The first thing that should be done, is you should read the boards. Check the Rules & Information and Help pages, and just read the posts. Visit the locations around Gal’Riiah, and discover the area. Really get a feel for this game. Remember, you can do quests at the pub, but there are places to explore. Just post your exploits. To join a clan, contact the Guild Master. The area is in the pub.
